Knit-In Frenzy in Mere Street! Transition Diss's knit-in outside the old Woolie's site - on Saturday June 13th - was a huge success. We were there for 3 hours meeting and talking with people, and knitting.... So tuned in are we in TD that we found out it was actually World Knitting Day (we hadn't known). Diss is now an official Transition Town, number 164 on the official Transition Towns list, and we have a new leaflet! Click here to download it.

We have had our first public event, a very successful knit-in in front of ex-Woolworths, and are planning more.

We have a new bread making course for beginners, and we are working on a community supported agriculture scheme.
