King’s Lynn could become a Transition Town in the near future with your help!

What are Transition Towns?

Transition Towns are about preparing to meet the twin challenges of Peak Oil and Climate Change.  Think about things like:

• Local food production eg community orchards, allotments
• Tree planting
• Rediscovering local building materials
• Community composting
• Improved cycling facilities
• Reskilling eg clay plastering, scything, food preservation, tool maintenance, making sourdough breads, natural dyes…

This is not a movement dwelling on “doom and gloom” but is about taking positive steps to foster resilience in local communities and having fun doing it!
