This all-day event was a huge success; there are notes here - The Second Regional Gathering

Date set for the next Big Regional Gathering!

Hello Everyone,

Earlier in the year 50 or so transitioners from a dozen local groups met in Downham Market for the first regional network meeting. It was a great day and we all agreed we should do it again (you can find Martin Black's write up here)

Diss have volunteered to host the next one and have now fixed a date: Saturday 14th November

They've organised the space (DC3 Church, well equipped and conveniently near Diss station), have volunteers to help the day run smoothly, but would like some help planning the activities and, perhaps, facilitating them. I've set up a page on Transition East for any ideas you might have about this here (you'll need to log in to add comments).

Best wishes,

Josiah

We're thinking about the best ways to get local primary school communities involved.
They seem like a good way to reach a broad cross-section of the local community.
Might there be interest in discussing this on this day?

Nicky Rowbottom (Halesworth)

Hi Nicky,

Yes, it should certainly be possible  to discus this. I'm going to post some more information soon...
